DEACON MINISTRY
Mark Dameron - Chair
For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a high standing and
great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 3:13 NASU
Mark is a lifetime resident of the White Stone area. He is a third generation Deacon of White Stone Baptist Church. Mark's leadership as Chairman of Deacons has helped establish a strong Deacon Ministry. White Stone Baptist Church currently has eight Deacons serving on the active Deacon Body. The primary responsibility of the Deacon Body is the Deacon Family Ministry. This ministry involves assigning each active Deacon a certain number families and individuals with whom they maintain communication, fellowship and various other services. Our Deacons fulfill their roles as servant models by assisting with ministries inside the church. These ministries include preparing and serving communion, reading scripture and leading in prayer during the worship service as well as many other tasks that assure the comfort and convenience for our members and visitors.
